Aleksandra is a Founding Member of BOK Law & Mediation Services. Experienced in handling all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, child support and prenuptial agreements, Aleks is fully trained in the Collaborative Law Process. The process is a customized, client-centric approach that focuses on resolving difficult, emotional situations with thoughtful solutions that benefit families. She is also a trained mediator. Aleks believes in customizing solutions to fit each individual family’s needs. She works diligently to resolve issues out of court, but is prepared to take a matter to trial if that is necessary and will zealously advocate for her clients. Aleks is able to handle a range of family law matters, from a simple uncontested divorce, to multi-day trials with complex facets.
In addition to her many other accomplishments, most recently Aleks was recognized as a 2024 Super Lawyer Rising Star and 2025 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Family Law.
In addition to practicing family law, Aleks handles a variety of estate matters. She assists clients in preparing estate planning documents, such as wills, powers of attorney and medical directives. Aleks also handles all aspects of probate and estate administration. She also is well-versed in orphans’ court litigation including guardianships and adoptions. Aleks is passionate about educating her clients regarding their estate needs.
Prior to co-founding BOK Law & Mediation Services, Aleks worked at several firms in Pittsburgh and the surrounding area, practicing family law as well as estate planning and administration. She is a graduate, summa cum laude, of Duquesne University School of Law where she finished third in her class and won multiple awards for her academic achievements. Aleks received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from American University in Washington, D.C. Aleks has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, Rising Star every year since 2017.
Aleks is an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, serving multiple terms on the Young Lawyers Division Council and chairing the Public Service Committee. She has also served on the Family Law Section Council. Aleks is a member of the Collaborative Law Associations of Southwestern PA and sits on the Board of the Pittsburgh Matrimonial Inns of Court. She is active in her community, serving on the board for both Beverly’s Birthdays as well as the Western Allegheny Community Library. She is also a Trustee for the Allegheny County Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
In her spare time, you can find Aleks dressing up her dog in costume, hosting theme parties and cheering on the Steelers.
